Ingredients:
1 tin Golden Maid Fried Dace with Mei Cai
200g minced meat
½ small carrot, chopped
2 local celery stalks, chopped
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
1 tsp cornstarch
100g rice
800ml chicken stock
50g lettuce, shredded
20g young ginger
Method:
1. Mash mei cai fried dace into flaskes.
2. Mix minced meat with fried dace flakes, chopped carrot, local celery, salt, pepper and cornstarch in a mixing bowl.
3. Mix meat mixture at one direction till sticky.
4. Shape into meat balls and arrange onto a platter.
5. Wash the rice, add in chicken stock and bring to cook into porridge.
6. Add in meat balls and bring to boil for 5 minutes.
7. Add shredded lettuce and young ginger. Serve hot.
